Indications Basal metabolic disorders, such as debility and anorexia responsive to vitamin B complex therapy; B vitamin responsive anaemia. Withholding Periods Nil. Dosage and Administration Horses. 450 to 500 kg: 5 mL. Racing horses: give 5 mL twice weekly over the back of the tongue. On race day give 10 mL four to six hours prior to racing to achieve high blood levels. Competition horses (dressage, show jumpers, eventers, polocrosse, endurance horses): give 5 mL twice weekly during periods of hard training and frequent competition. Travelling: give 10 mL four to six hours prior to travel and then 5 mL every third day while away. Recovery: 1 mL/100 kg (5 mL/500 kg horse) twice weekly until horse has recovered. Ponies, foals: give 1 mL/100 kg.
